Good morning! Today is an eventful day! I have a fun project to share with you all, as well as it being my birthday and the 4th anniversary of starting this little blog! So, thank you to all who have stopped by, left comments and supported me in my love of crafting! I plan to get a give-away going soon in celebration of this milestone, so keep an eye out. I have been behind with everything since the kiddos got out of school for the summer, but I will get myself together soon!
So, on to the project! I am so happy with this and my daughter even more so! I have turned a thrift store find into something fit for my little princess!
Here is the before:
As you may notice, it was missing its glass on the left side. I used it as an excuse to get creative which you will see below in my parade of photos!
Now for the after, using the gorgeous Gilded Lily Collection by Graphic 45:
I painted the armoire with white paint, dry brushed on some gold paint and used Mod Podge to adhere the papers and seal the whole thing. I used the 8×8 and 12×12 papers from the Gilded Lily Collection to get the patterns and images just as I wanted them. It was so much fun and my daughter loves it!
I bought this jewelry armoire for $2.50!!! Can you believe it?!
I’m now a little obsessed with my local thrift store, LOL! What amazing deals have you snatched up from your thrift store? I’d love to hear about it!
Hi, all! It’s an exciting day today! Today is the start of Graphic 45′s sneak peeks of their brand new collections for Summer 2015!!! Preorders will be available soon after the Sneak Peeks of all the Collections! And as always, 15% off MSRP, so stay tuned!
First up is the super fun and bright World’s Fair. I love how versatile this collection is- inspirational projects, kids projects, summer fun- the possibilities are endless.
This Collection was a
blast to work with! I loved all the images and, especially, the hot air
balloons. I went through 3 sheets of Balloon Bouquet in order to get all the
hot air balloon images I wanted, as I decorated my mini everywhere with them! I
even put away my go-to tab punch and used the fussy cut hot air balloons as my
tabs! It was a fun way to change things up and it gave the album such a fun and
unique look that just added to the whimsy of the album!
Here is a video walk through of this fun mini and pictures galore below!
Thanks for stopping by!

HI all! I have a Graphic 45′s Team Project to share using Raining Cats and Dogs. I have used the Mixed Media Box to make it into a boxed Mini Album and I love how it turned out!
When I first saw the Raining Cats and Dogs Collection, I immediately thought of my good friend who loves animals so much she became a Vegan! I knew I wanted to make her a mini album to house the special photos of her with her fur babies, so I altered a Mixed Media Box to turn it into an all-in-one Boxed Mini Album. Tip: For each album page, try focusing on two main colors with a pop of a third color to ensure a cohesive look that is not too busy and enhances the focus on the photo.
I have a Video Walk-through of the Album and TONS of photos. At the bottom, I put together a list of everything I used to create this mini!
Hi all! I have a mini album to share with you all as my debut project for the Graphic 45 Design Team!!! I still can’t believe I made the team. I am so honored and excited with all the projects I will be creating throughout the year. I hope you will follow me and find inspiration along the way
I have made a girly baby album with my sister-in-law in mind using Precious Memories by Graphic 45. I love the compact size of a mini album, but I want to fit as many photos as possible and I know with a new baby, my sister-in-law will be snapping photos like crazy! A great way to allow for maximum photos is to use waterfalls. I based this mini album on lots of waterfall flaps and variations of the typical waterfall. I have used my favorite technique to hide the hinge for a clean look that will show off the gorgeous design paper and baby photos. Below I have photos and a video walk-through, as well as a Snapguide tutorial for the hidden hinge waterfall and fun variations to try in your next mini! I will list all the supplies at the end of the post.
So, here is the baby girl mini I made for my sister-in-law who is expecting a baby girl. Hopefully, she won’t see it on social media before I can give it to her!!

Whoop! Whoop! I made the final round for the Graphic 45 Design Team Call!!
I made 3 new projects and a tutorial for this final submission. Please check out the video to see my porjects in action and the tutorial for how I constructed the mini album’s page base. Wish me luck and enjoy the video and photos. The video has more photos at the end. (The video is longer than I would’ve liked, sorry!)
Hi, all! I have finally been able to find time to finish an album I have been working on for the past few weeks! It is a perfect mini album to hold all the special photos taken in the springtime, from Valentine’s to Easter and all it’s fun events! I have used the Spring Mini Album Kit available at ScrapbookMaven.com to make this album. The kit comes with everything you need to make the album, except your choice of plain cardstock.
Here’s a mini album I made using the Motley Collection. It makes a great vintage, romantic album- perfect for Valentine’s Day or any occasion! I had so much fun making this mini album. I used the Motley papers and embellishments from the Motley Scrap Kit at Scrapbook Maven. I used the Super Simple Pocket Page Tutorial for the page construction.
Happy Friday! I can’t believe I forgot to post about this Mini I posted on YouTube earlier! I made this mini album using the Marion Smith Posh Scrap Kit available at ScrapbookMaven.com. Here are a few pics of the outside and a video to share the inside.
